Whale Books for Maine Communities

Wherever the whale travels, the learning continues. Through our Whale Books initiative, Within the Whale places whale and ocean-themed books into Little Free Libraries across Maine, giving children and families access to science-based stories long after our programs end. These books help spark curiosity, encourage ocean stewardship, and make marine science accessible beyond the classroom.
