She has a remarkable talent for making complex environmental topics both accessible and inspiring.

She has worked with a diverse range of wildlife species, including owls, hawks, eagles, reptiles, amphibians, seals, bats, woodchucks, opossums, and has been honored as a Shining Star in her field by the National Association for Interpretation (informal education).

Jessica's commitment to wildlife and conservation extends beyond her professional endeavors. In her spare time, she volunteers with multiple organizations: marine mammal response, rescue, education, and care through Marine Mammals of Maine. She is the Volunteer Coordinator and Social Media Director for Sharks4Kids, and is the elected Deputy Director for the National Association for Interpretation’s Northeast Region- a professional organization for the field of informal educators. Outside of that work she hikes with her spouse and dogs, reads in a hammock, beach combs, and works on her pollinator garden.
